There are multiple reasons and everyone will have a different opinion. The last study I saw shows by 2030, which isn't far away, that 50% + of all dating age women between 20 and 45 I think will be childless and single with little to no dating prospects.

You can even find articles now pointing out men have sworn off match making events entirely and even club attendance has dropped for men attendees in favor of online or friend group activities.

There is a good percentage of men who do want relationships and even marriages that are seeking spouses internationally and leaving the west entirely and another group that is growing that have just decided to remain single. Combine that with the first time in history women are starting to outnumber men and this trend is very likely to get much worse before it gets better.

The dating dynamic is fast dying to the hookup culture and at this point it may take decades for it to reverse

Because young women have a tendency to make things awkward by thinking the guy is a "creep" or something just because he talks to her, or because he's not a guy she finds attractive. Young women create friction and tension because of this, and want to behave coldly with a guy or act like they're avoiding him to make him feel like he did something wrong, even if he really didn't.

They are approaching. To say younger aren't approaching anymore is bullshit. Most young men still do so.

And we aren't irritated with them doing so, we are irritated because guys often don't take no for an answer, or go about it in an uncomfortable way.
