I imagine not too common but I imagine this sort of thing is more acceptable today than even as recent as 5 to 10 years ago. Seems like the overall goal is to gradually break down gender roles. Definitely still not the preference of the majority of women though and could be a turn off to potential dates. If it's that big a deal to you then the right woman will accept you as you are.
