Why do some women hate other women?

Like I noticed this one woman posting all these posts of if others are jealous of her. As though people have nothing better to do than get jealous.

the scary part is she actually believes this the story she’s told herself is everyone is jealous of her.

I sometimes feel people who tell themselves things like that are just as much a hater of other women as people who are actually envious because the story they’re telling themselves is that they are superior. Why compare at all?

It is not uncommon for men to hear women complain about other women and bemoan that it is difficult to have a female friend.

Also it seems that intra-sex competition between women is vicious. Chris Williamson (YT) has done some interesting podcasts on the theme "Female Competition Is Ruthless".

A female psychologist on his podcast ascribed it to competition to reproduce. For men, it is more a flat out sprint. After all we can impregnate a woman in under 60 seconds. For women, damaging her likelihood of reproducing is far more productive.

So in the women's race there are a lot more dirty tricks than in the men's race.

The woman you are referring to might be ascribing intra-sex competition to jealousy.

Certainly so, I agree. There will always be power structures within both female and male groups and between females and males. Some animals will always want to be more equal than other animals :)

Excluding rival women from the group is a classic. Telling a man some dirty sexual details about another woman is another one.

You mean the jealous one excludes the woman they’re jealous of? When is it that they’re doing it because they just don’t like her want her around as opposed to when they’re jealous?

Does it help to distinguish between jealousy and plain dislike? Person A still wants to exclude Person B.

It does because dislike is a much less malicious motive than jealousy

Why post the smallest inquisitions anonymously? What are your fears and concerns regarding someone seeing your already anonymous username? It’s a personal thing right? I’d say the same for that woman. Mind you, she’s probably anonymous too, but in her case just spewing nonsense to combat troubles she’s facing internally that we may never understand.

Some people have big egos and they love to boast or just bully and insult people on here to feel better about themselves. It's as much to convince themselves as us.

To be fair though I don’t think beauty earns respect necessarily.

So I don't know if it’s as simple as that. But it’s def a part of it
