Did you ever regret NOT giving someone your number?

I was just wondering...have your ever regretted NOT giving your number out to someone? I went to this shop with a relative of mine a few days ago and there was this guy there who found me attractive and asked me for my number. I found him attractive as well and our connection was pretty much obvious because other people noticed it as well. However, in part, because I don't like flirting or anything like that in front of relatives (out of respect) and because I didn't even know the guy's name, I didn't give him my number. He seemed to know and understand that I felt kind of awkward flirting with a family member around so he wasn't upset when he didn't get my number. But it's been about 4 days since I last saw him and I'm still thinking about how I regret not giving him my number and how I should've given him my number. Is it weird for me to feel this way? Have you ever regretted not giving someone your number after they asked for it.

Never happened to me. I've been rejected once after asking haha. If that girl came to me again and explained how she regretted not giving it to me I would think it's awesome. Go give him your number next time you see him! He'll be happy and it wouldn't be weird at all

I have regretted giving people my number some wanted to be more then friends and I didn't realize and some would message me way to much.
