Guys do you ever like a weird or very quiet girl?

This guy who is in my college class doesn't like me anymore because I am really shy and quiet and I never really talked to him when ever he tried to talk to me, was not my fault I just couldn't really do anything about it!

now this guy never tries to talk to me and he sort of really dislikes me! I heard him say to one of his friends ' 'aw she doesn't talk to us at all... Ah well she is only a weirdo anyway.'' this was upsetting and it did annoy me. I know I get what I deserve for not really opening up to him, but I just wish thing were different so badly. If I try and talk a bit to this guy will he still always think I am a weirdo or will he give me another chance? by the way I am not an ugly girl ( a lot of people say I am hot actually) I am just very quiet and people then think that I am snobby or a weirdo. Any help would be appricateted :)

Well if I was him I'd think "oh she totally hates me and I don't know what I did to her" and either avoid you or be mean back (not knowing you didn't intend to be mean). So You should try talking to him and he might realize your actualy nice and be more friendly. But if he doesn't at least you'll have some practice for the next time someone starts talking to you. :)

If I was in his shoes, I'd think you didn't like me either. However, if I don't like a girl or any person for that matter, I just don't even think about them, let alone say negative things about them If I said negative things about a girl to my friends, its probablay that I actually believe the opposite of what I say.

i hope you are right about that last bit, but it is doubtful. I just know that he doesn't not like me anymore because he never smiles at me and tries to start a conversation anymore. thank you very much for your comment! :) what do you think I should do about this now though? should I try and talk to him? what would you like this girl to do if you were in this guys shoes? thank you guitardave :)

If he feels blown off, he's not going to want to flirt for awhile. The problem is, if you like him, you can't afford to be shy right now, because you'll probably have to be a little more assertive now.

It's harder to approach or talk to them but when you're attracted to someone, it happens regardless whether she's talkative or shy, it doesn't matter at all!

I prefer the very quiet girl, because it ends up most of the time being the kinkiest of them all. ;p
