Why do guys give girls dirty looks?

its like first they are looking at you, checking you out, a bit of a stare but when you come closer towards them or walk past them, they give you a dirty look. why do they do that? is it because you look better far away but then you don't look so good up close. I don't know why they do that.Anyone's comments are greatly appreciated.!

You must be talking about girls. Holy heck, just waiting behind them at the checkout stand. Such scowls. It sends a "Don't you DARE approach me" message.

yeah I know some girls can be real bitches sometimes.. but I always seem to get it with guys even when I'm waiting at the busstop the guy stares at you but then their stare suddenly turns into a dirty look and they keep staring at you from their mirror. Maybe I'm reading their stare wrong

I think you might be. And I think there are just a ton of socially awkward people out there, especially since the advent of the Internet. Just look at the way the two of us are communicating :)
