I wish I was more girly/girlie?

I wish I was more into girlie stuff and that it came naturally to me ya know. That's not to say I just don't care about my appearance, but compared to *some* girls.

A lot of girls enjoy manicures/pedicures(I do love nail polish), applying their makeup(I used to love makeup, now I don't wear any) straightening this hair(I leave mine curly), dressing up in cute clothing or wearing heels(I like jeans/t shirt/sweatpants/yoga pants/sneakers/uggs) and carrying around handbags(I like cross body bags).

Grrrr, sometimes I wish I was more...into those things naturally. Not to say ill begin doing those things cause I'm too lazy to haha, but still :(

What do you wish you could change about yourself?

As you know, I used to be reallly f***ing girly. I'd always be dolled up in makeup, I'd take a lot of care into doing up my hair, I'd wear blouses and tights and do all sorts of feminine things, and then over the course of a few months I did it less and less, and then suddenly I realized I had a beard, and my hair was curly. And I stopped wearing my girlie clothes. I bought new clothes that suited the way I look, and while I still shop on both floors, I look boyish, and masculine.

It was a pretty serious change, and it made me very upset at the time; not because I didn't like it, I adored it, I loved it, I was totally enamoured by it, I was so buried in the slickness of night, it was casual and cool and so very me, and it fit me so perfectly, it was everything I was. And THATS what upset me. I had stopped wanting to be girly, I was happy looking like a boy. The fact that boyishness fit in accordance to my desires was what upset me so gravely - I had begun to hold myself to the standard of gender confusion because for many years that was my character, and I felt I must stay that character. I cried a lot at this time. But now I'm really happy, I'm really happy. I'm still coming to terms with it, but I'm not sad, and I'm over the transition.

You're not as girlie as you want to be, not by appearance but by nature, that's what you're saying. So I'd just say to you, really, don't feel you have to be. If it's what you want, it is what you want. Don't force yourself to be something you really don't want to, not because it's emotionally damaging or anything, but because you just don't *have* to.

I don't know if you'll appreciate that though.

Nah, I wish I was more talented honestly. Like having fun hobbies that I stick to and am great at. I spend too much of my life right now on serious things like work and school.
