What does it mean when a guy looks at you like there's no one else around?

So my friend says there's this guy (whom I'm attracted to) looks at me as if I'm the only person there, and nobody else. What could this mean? Different suggestions? Insights? :)

Well, Here's my two cents: There is a huge difference between an objective statement and a subjective one.

The objective statement here is that this guy looks at you.

The subjective statement, on the other hand, is that of your friend who says he looks at you "As is there is no one else around"

No one but him really knows weather or not that holds any truth.

A huge problem I see on this website is that people tend to read way too much into things.Often I see questions as well as answers that are completely guided on subjective information. The best advise I can give to anyone in your situation is, If you feel something for someone let that be known. It's much easier and a better use of your time to go about things in a straight forward manner. This way you save time, effort and you are not stuck beating around the bush.

maybe he likes you, they say that if a person looks at you as though you're the only one there then he likes you. when you look back him does he immediately look away? does he blush when you look at him? if he does, then he definitely likes you. you should talk to him :) I hope this helps

Hmm.. No he doesn't look away, he holds the gaze until I get much closer to him. And I do speak to him, he's real sweet..And my friend says he blushes, but it may just be flushed cheeks... Never know hahaa ..I haven't spoken to him much.. I don't know much about him either, just his name- and the only time I see him is when I go by his work..and he holds constant eye contact as well..
