If girl looks away super fast when you catch her looking, is it a dead giveaway she likes you?

So she ignores me often, avoids eye contact, initiates conversation more often with other guys in the social circle. Seems like she might be shy. She often completely avoids eye contact ( seems like she's consciously making an effort to not look at me), but if I 'catch' her looking at me, she looks away super fast. Is it a giveaway she likes me?

No definitely not. Some people just look at others to look and sometimes a girl who looks another way could one like you or 2 not like you. She may look away quickly because she doesn't want you thinking that she likes you, she's just looking and thinking but not romantically of you OR she does like you and she's bad at hiding it.

Its 50/50 some people look at others ... like if a girl or guy doesn't like you if you look at them they quickly look away because they don't wanna give you any ideas OR some girls or guys like you and they're thinking of you so when you finally look at them they're like "oh crap can they see through me" and they look away so they dont' seem weird lol MAYBE

you should talk to her as a friend and see where it goes from there... if there's flirting or a connection its definitely a possibility she likes you but you need more proof and you need to develop more of a foundation than staring at each other lol

I think either she likes you, or thinks you like her and doesn't want to lead you on. Or something else all together :P

Maybe just try speaking to her on her own a bit, and see how she reacts (if she is shy, she is likely to be very different away from the group) See if you can tell better then : )

OR - You're so horribly disfigured that she can't help but look at you sometimes, but then looks away really fast because she doesn't want you to catch her looking at you.

Well she could either like you and be shy or just not like you at all and want to avoid you. You know best if she'd have reason to hate or avoid you purposely. :)

There's a possiblity she likes you. When I met the guy I'm with now, we were playing BS and I kept on looking at him to see if he was lying during the game and I noticed he didn't look at me at all. I thought that it was because he didn't like me and was sort of disappointed, but I didn't know for sure because he was pretty shy. But when we started dating, he told me that he didn't look at me on purpose because he was so nervous. So it could possibly be the same situation for you.

Seems to me like she likes you. Shy girls don't like to be seen looking at the guy they like because it makes them nervous.
