I'm not shy. That's not my problem. I simply don't know what to talk about with a girl. Girls are so lame. They have strange ridiculous hobbies. They are interested in girlie stuff/listen to girlie music... don't know much about important things in life. What to talk about with a girl?

You know that's funny because I know a good amount of men who spend more money on their shoes than a women does.

I agree some women can be blinded by designers and what's "popular" with ridiculous hobbies and don't care for a single thing except their coach bag.

That being said, You can't just put all women into those terms.

I love Politics and history. In fact I love spending time reading into WWII, for example.

I don't care about the important things in life?

I love all music and am open to almost all genres (except country) but I prefer Classical such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Fredrick Chopin.

I Only listen to girlie music?

I Enjoy collecting animal bones (yes I know this is a bit creepy) to draw. And I enjoy studying the anatomy of a human body . I want to work in a mortuary for a career. either that Or Military or forensic science.

I'm Only interested in girlie stuff?

I rott my brain out playing video games that are stereotyped towards men. I Love to draw anime and Manga. I love to read. I love to do many things, but these are my top three.

Are these really that ridiculous and strange?

Word from the wise. Unless you have gotten to know every women in the world. don't stereotype them with each failure you've had with women. Because that is what makes a girl lame to you. When they turn away due to your prejudice comments.

Find a girl that fits with you and isn't boring. It's just like finding a friend, except there is more feeling and care behind it. And if you REALLY don't know what to talk about, have her do all of the talking. Or play the question game. one asks, both answer,

Hey, here's an idea: Talk about NORMAL things. Your likes and dislikes. Your hobbies. Your weekend. Girls are people too... The only reasons a girl would talk about girlie things with a guy would be 1) because she's too nervous to think of anything normal to say, 2) she's trying to hint to you that you're talking about guy stuff too much 3) She's trying to hint to you to go away, or 4) she is just a shallow girl who really has nothing else to talk about. (these types are a bit more rare... and I suggest staying away from them.)

Girls play sports.

Girls play video games.

Girls live in a world where there is weather. (hint...)

Girls live in a world where there is economy/politics (hint hint...)

Girls have families.

Girls do things on weekends.

Girls compete in events.

Girls like movies and books.

Girls have personal beliefs (whether religious or otherwise)

Girls are insanely talented (at something... find out what it is.)

That should keep you busy for a while. Next time, don't stereotype or overgeneralize...

And what strange ridiculous hobbies are you talking about? And what type of "important things in life" do we not know much about? Global situations? economy? poverty? or stuff like, how to get a good job? How to succeed in school and work? How to survive on your own two feet? Wouldn't the "important" things be, how to raise a family? How to single-handedly pull a broken family together? How to keep a house clean and food on the table? There are some amazing women in this world.

Then you need to find girls that like the same thing as you do. My boyfriend had a long string of girly/bitchy girlfriends that he really had nothing in common with. And then he met me!

We met because I was wearing a Batman shirt, which he thought was awesome so he finds the table I sat at (it was transfer orientation) and he sits with me and sees I'm reading V for Vendetta, which he hasn't read but he loved the movie. So he asks a question about that and thus the conversation began. We just kind of let the talking drift from one thing to another, it started out as comic books then shifted to books that had been made into movies, then to just movies and so on.

Stop trying to get with girls who have nothing in common with you, that will solve the problem. And when you start dating a girl tell her the things you like and introduce her to them. I was a Marching band kid since I was nine years old and I hated football. I thought it was a waste of time and space that should be filled up with MORE MARCHING BANDS. However, he loved football so I agreed to watch one game with him. But just one. Several months later his parents got me a Woodhead jersey and I could not have been happier about it.

On the other hand I introduced him to things that I really like- namely story time and books he'd never read that are my favorites.

It's all a give and take. Find someone you have common ground with and expand from there, you'll both love to teach each other new things and learn new things. It's a lot of fun.

What you said is not necessarily true for all women. It's not that girls are boring, it's just that maybe you need your head examined. Girls, in my opinion, are anything BUT boring! And going back to your "girlie guys/sissies" thing, it's not that I am a girlie guy, but it's that I have become more sensitized to what a girl cares about, and that is why most of my friends are girls, because they know I am a very sensitive and understanding guy, compared to all the guys who only care about being "hard-a**'s" at my school, and I am definitely not a sissy either. I've been involved in my school's wrestling team for three straight years, and I also have been working out ever since I got involved. The reason you probably can't find anything to talk about with a girl is probably because you've got such a big head full of pride and conceitfulness that makes you think guys are superior to girls, no matter what. That is your biggest mistake. You've got to learn to be more open to girls, and then maybe they will start liking you, and you won't be so bored with them. They're human just like you. The whole idea of "women are weak, men are strong" and all that bullsh*t was thought of by men with sexist minds. You can't be sexist and expect girls to not be boring, in your case. You need some help, man.

bro, your answer lies below. being uninterested in what a girl has to say is like a girl being uninterested in sex... such a turn off. maybe your just with girls that are not your type but even still; fake it till you make it. I ask girls questions, the answers to which I don't really care about but it's a way to make them feel appreciated which is what I want for them. if all those girls care about is girl music, Justin beiber and playing with their hair then fine... meet more girls because there are plenty of wonderful and interesting women out there. but having such a pessimistic attitude won't get you very far and won't help you to meet different girls. Anyway, unlike the other girls who answered yes I dress in a girlie way, and yes I have expensive handbags but I won't talk about it, I've got other things in mind.

Well, I spend my whole day in a classe where there's like 40 guys and 5 girls, and guess what I have no problems having a real convo with them ! Its actually easier since guys don't ask you about your feelings and I'm not a feelings sharing person, actually we just laugh a lot.

Maybe you should just grow up a bit, most people don't care about important stuff, because they are stupid, what kind of organ you got down there has nothing to do with it !

So find yourself a smart girl and there won't be any problems, as long as a smart girl would consider talking with you though :)

All women are different, some are very girlie and their interests don't go further past makeup, hair and clothes, but most women have a lot more to them than that.

But it doesn't mean you have to have a list of girl stuff like "open with telling her hair is nice, tell her how much you love the color pink, now braid her hair" Just talk about what you're interested in and you'll start building a normal relationship and getting to know her.

It's almost impossible for you to have a quality conversation with a girl because you have some underlying hatred for them that you really need to sort out.

I have female friends and talk to them every so often with no problems at all. It's because I have hobbies and interests so there's always something to talk about. I find that a huge amount of people posting in online forums never seem to have those and it makes it ridiculously tough for them to communicate with anyone about anything. People really need to get out more.

But We are both human me and you , we are both either working , going to school , growing up , taking responsibility , living in the same country , have backgrounds , looking for true love ..etc

And by the way A LOT of girls share interests with guys .

Example I like to play video games . My fav PC game is need for speed world AND my fav TV shows are : LOST and Prison Break .
