What do attractive girls think of shy guys?

This is really a 2-part question. And I have targeted attractive girl for a reason, even though I know that all girls are different.

1. Do attractive girls not like shy guys? If girls are attractive then they most probably get attention from a lot of guys. So they most probably like the kind of guy who is comfortable with himself and can approach her and make the first move and flirt a little right? And they get used to that kind of behavior from certain guys so they might end up getting turned off if a guy has a sort of shy behavior ?

2. Do attractive girl expect good-looking guys to be confident? What if a guy was attractive or cute but was shy? Is there such a thing as a physically attractive shy guy?

I like guys who are shy. It says nothing about their well being or how good they are. I don't judge a guy based on how shy he is. I would like him to at least show me he likes me or is at least interested because there is no way I could figure that out on my own. And who said attractive girls can't be shy too? I mean you're assuming that all attractive girls can't be shy themselves, therefore would understand your situation. Of course there is a physically attractive shy guy as there are attractive shy girls. They don't attractiveness and confidence don't necessarily go hand in hand and shyness doesn't mean you're not confident it means you shy away from those you're attracted to.

First of all, shyness is not the opposite of confidence. Insecurity is the opposite of confidence and outgoingness is the opposite of shyness. So the question is, are you shy or insecure?

Personally I like shy guys but that's because I prefer a chase more than I do chasing the guy. However, there's nothing more unattractive to me than a guy who's insecure. Girls can smell confidence from a mile away and it's definitely attractive.

So to answer your question, yes there is definitely such thing as a by cute guy and I know plenty of attractive girls who agree.

I disagree, I think not being outgoing doesn't necessarily reflect how you see yourself. While it is true that a lot of guys are shy due to their insecurities, I know plenty of confident shy guys.

I'm used to being approached by confident (douche bag) guys, so a guy with a different demeanor like you would intrigue me. But you can't be too shy and ignore the girl, or else she would think you didn't like her. Send her occasional glances and maybe smile, don't go too far out of your comfort zone though. And no, attractive girls do not expect a good looking guy to be confident (: If you are cute but shy, we will definitely consider you, because in my case, I think shy guys are extremely adorable (:

"Attractive", well that is not a very definitive quality.

What do you consider attractive? The casual, extroverted, make-up concealed party girls you see pretty much basically everywhere who drink themselves drunk every weekend, or the more reluctant, maybe even reclusive, introverted girls who care less about such "social concerns" but probably don't "care as much" for their appearance.

Or are you talking about body types? Because that truly does not say barely anything about the person, at all.

It depends on the girl, and usually on her personality.

For example, I prefer shy guys. I'm shy myself, and I like reserved guys. However, a friend of mine is a complete extrovert that is super outgoing and friendly - she likes guys who are the same. She's dated shy guys, but said the dynamic of the relationship isn't the same and she prefers someone more like her.

Furthermore, shy =/ lack of confidence. You can be shy and confident. My dude is reserved but confident and very good looking.

I find the usual issue is finding a catalyst for a relationship. Basically, shy guys are more likely to fit with shy girls - but both parties are too shy to initiate anything. Impasse.

2. If a guy was handsome AND not totally full of himself, that would actually make him seem great to me!
