Is being a pervert really such a "bad" thing?

every now and than I see questions on here about someone doing something or being turned on by something "weard" and wondering if they are a pervert.

what I want to know is, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone what's wrong with being a pervert?

PS: I hope this is behavior and not sexuality. I'm not too sure.

being a pervert isn't a bad thing... everyone gets these thoughts sometimes.

But if you can't take anything seriously and always think pervertedly then it's a problem because no ones will take you seriously. and try keeping these things to yourself because if you just scream things out for example you'll be acting innapropriate and just plain ride.

as long as the perverted thoughts don't control and dominate the mind 24/7 then its OK, and as long as you don't act it out and hurt any1 that's OK too. Because if everyone said they never had thoughts like that they would be lying. But there's a fine line of being a pervert and being sick

I guess that's OK too, I mean our thoughts are own personal things, we can think whatever we want but don't let it control or affect your life that all these thoughts begin to pile up over the years and one day you're so frustrated you can't help but to act it out and in the process someone gets hurt or scarred for life. That what bfs/gfs are for, act out all the fantasies with them , its fun and cool! some people are shy to tell their boyfriend/girlfriend their fantasies afraid of being rejected

I think some people define pervert differently. When I describe myself as perverted, I'm just saying I have a dirty mind. I think some people imagine raping horses and fcking babies or something, because when I call them perverted they freak out. :x

I think everyone has an inner pervert whether they admit it or not. But some people are open and non discrete about it and can't seem to contain their inner pervert at all. And therefore they come across as creepy and vile.

As long as you don't hurt anyone it is not morally wrong IMO. It may be weird/disgusting/pathetic and so on though.
