Guys, is blushing due to the first date nervousness?

You are on a first date.

You see the girl arrive

and you start beaming.

As she walks closer to you

you suddenly turn bright red

and you look down at the floor.

You then put yourself back together again

and carry on as the self-confident guy you usually are.

Is that reaction (the blushing)

due to sheer first-date nervousness

or is it because you really like the girl?

i would say he really likes you. I would probably be nervous through out the whole date. if I really like a girl, I would have raging butterflies in stomach, and almost speechless. I can remember the feeling when I first really fancied a girl. its horrible because you want to be yourself and give her a good time. and these feeling just cripple you lol.

Well, not being the guy, it's impossible for me to speak on his behalf. But it could be both.

For me, the blushing might be because of the first date. When I'm with a girl I really like, I don't feel nervousness, but rather warm, happy, and awesome. Like I'm on top of the world.
