Is it stupid to ask a guy why he stopped talking to you?

I don't want to be rude or anything I just want to politely tell him that I kind of miss him and that I feel like he doesn't want to talk to me any more, and I hate when people put me in that position. Is it okay to do that? And how should I even start conversation like this? Do guys tend to stop talking to a girl because a girl is too available or too unavailable?

if you feel like he doesn't want to talk to you - he probably doesn't want to - but depends how much you care - like as a friend wise - if you think your pride is more important, I would ask you to stop wasting your time just move on, cos maybe he stopped talking to you probably he was dating someone else at the same time so he moved on! but if you and him are friends and you don't want to lose a friend like him - just ask him what happened and what are you up to? for me - if friends I can probably sense they only want to be your friends, (maybe he knew he isn't available, he's married or maybe already have a girlfriend, but he still want you as a friend and someone can talk to) if that guy just looking for a date - they can't b bother to build up a proper friendship with you.

You can ask him if you want, but the odds of you getting a 100% truthful answer from him are low. (Most people prefer to avoid confrontations.) He probably stopped talking to you because he lost interest; it happens to the best of us.

As I've grown older, I've stopped caring about WHY a particular woman lost interest in me. The reason doesn't matter; it only matters that she is no longer worthy of my time and energy.
