Is being called a wildcard a bad thing?

All my friends describe me as a wild card and I don't know why. I don't have orange hair or anything weird like that. All I have is a monroe piercing and tattoo on my side. I drink and party but as much as the average person. I am still a virgin too. I don't see these as wildcard characteristics.

Being a wildcard means they don't know what to expect from you... It could be good or bad depending on the person. For someone that wants to have fun, you might be just what they are looking for. For someone that is looking for stability, you may be too chaotic. It really depends on the context.

No, I wouldn't say being called a wild card is a bad thing. It doesn't mean eccentric or different or anything, just unpredictable. I view it more as to behavior , like you'll react differently to the same things so it's hard to predict.

A person who is generally unpredictable and has no defined role in a group of friends, and their often reckless and wacky behavior can either benefit or hurt the group depending on the situation.
