Am I bound to be alone forever?

I am 24 years of age, never had a girlfriend, I am still a virgin. I have tried to get a girlfriend, but nothing works, they always say the same thing all the time "You are such a great guy, I don't like you that way but I am sure you will find somebody that will like you" bs. Anyhow and the ones that don't say that are complete bitches about rejecting me and playing me. I am not a shy person, I do approach women, but I never get anywhere with any body.

"WOMEN should not be the main source of a Man's happiness. It is everywhere, on the television, the radio, the books, and hell, even in a bodybuilding forum, where men act as if they are living their lives to fulfill the desires of women when it should be the other way around.

You need to take a good look of yourself in front of a mirror. Ask yourself, what is it in this life that you want? Where do you want to be? What are the things you are doing to achieve your aspirations?

You need to realize your dream and work on them. Your dream should not be related to acquiring women. A true man has dreams BIGGER than women!

Realize that it is possible to die without ever having a woman at your side. So ask yourself, if you drop dead right now will you be content with what you have done with your life so far? Will you be happy? Usually, it is those who look for another person as a source of happiness are often the MOST unhappy people. You cannot control how other people feels about you. But you can control how you feel about yourself. And truly loving yourself is the ultimate gift.

You are a Man. Stop crying over a woman. Start living your life and find your passion. And if you have already found your passion (fitness and going to med-school to become a doctor for me) then immerse yourself with the work it takes to ELEVATE what you do to an art form.

When I didn't have women I thought I was weird and could not wait until I finally got them. When I got women I realized I still was not content. I wanted to have sex. When I finally was getting laid, I realized it did not make me anymore unique or "alpha" than the other guys who are not in the same situation.

I am not saying that working on your aspirations, living well, and being fit will get you girls. BUT it makes it EASIER to GET THEM AND KEEP THEM.

The MISC. always laugh at this saying: LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. BUT I argue that this is what you should be telling yourself constantly. LIVE first, make sure you have direction in life! LAUGH second, once your life has direction only then you can really begin to have fun and be happy when you wake up in the morning. LOVE is the last, because only when you are LIVING first and LAUGHING second then you are capable of finding true LOVE.

So stop crying over women. The women should be the ones CRYING OVER YOU! Go be the Man that you are suppose to be! Action. Passion. Strength. This is MAN. Live your life for YOURSELF. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS! At the end of the day, when you are laying on your bed alone at night, you realize that all you really have is yourself and the dreams you want to achieve.

Show the world what you truly are, not what they think of you."

look at all of the damn work we guys have to do in order to be attractive to girls, to be boyfriend material, relationship/dating material? girls do not need to have those traits, they just have to sit still and be hot, cute, pretty

My friend, I was you once. You need to learn game, take the red pill. Find a blog called "Dalrock." and go from there. You're not hopeless--you're just following what society and women are telling you to do, but no one has told you that that's a born to lose game, sabotage. You know why women say "I just want a nice guy"? Half to lie to themselves, half so that "nice guys" will reveal themselves, so they know who to NOT sleep with.

I'm 24, and never had so much as a single soul express interest and had been gently shot down before much like you have. I always got that annoying sympathy from friends of:

'you'll find someone,'

'you're such a great person,'

' I don't understand why nothing has ever happened for you.'

All of the BS. I could write a book on it.

I'm not shy. I'm friendly, intelligent, funny, ...all these allegedly good things... all to no avail.

Needless to say, and as you probably feel as well, I wanted to punch anyone who uttered the words: "You'll find someone." Then proceed to not help at all.

And then, about two months ago, in an act of cosmic proportions, my now boyfriend fell from the sky and in a complete turn of events I was suddenly in a legitimate relationship. No complications, it was "we get along freakishly well. lets be a thing." Bam. Done. 24 years of singledom smashed out of nowhere.

And a chorus of giddy 'I told you so's came chiming from the 'you'll find someone' people of the past. The now Boyfriend was also completely confused as to how I got this far completely single, didn't matter to him, but was/is none the less confused.

So, as someone who still relates far more to the chronically single than the taken soul, I feel for you sir. And sometimes, you just have to stick it out till the stars align. Keep being friendly, go meet new people. Its not like everyone is getting married at 18-20 like they did years ago, there's no pressure. (just annoying friends)

You (probably) won't be alone forever if you don't want to be. It just may take a bit to work itself out.

It will happen. You've got so many years ahead of you that it is really unlikely that you will be alone for the rest of your life.

I think you need to start by really giving some love to yourself. Even if the fear of being alone is in the back of your mind, that fear ends up getting projected. Then, when you meet someone you really like and you get your hopes up, it comes out even when you don't want it to. It can come across like you are desperate even if you really aren't.

The way t combat that is to focus on you-eat right, work out and take care of yourself. Find hobbies and things that you like to do. Go out and do things that you enjoy. When you are fine with being on your own and you are totally happy with yourself, that is when you will meet someone who compliments your life, not completes it.

One of the most attractive things in a man is one who is totally fine on his own and who is independent.

Hey, there are plenty of fish in the sea. You're still young and so are the girls that you're trying to date. When they get more serious about their futures, I think people will have a change of heart in perspective, if that's their youth is the only item that is skewing their vision. We're human, we continue learning and perhaps it's a hint that you should continue to improve upon your talents and abilities.

Don't let this recent turn of events get you down, keep looking. Rome wasn't built in a day. Give it some more time and turn your thoughts to something else. You may yet find love in an unexpected situation. I really hope that everything works out for you; I still think that there's a possibility of you finding a partner. Keep on trekking!

Well your about as likely as I am to die alone, I'm in the same type of situation. I'm far from ugly but I am shy and super awkward around guys I find attractive. I know what is keeping me from finding someone, maybe that's what you need to figure out so you can fix it. It could be anything from the technique you use to approach them to the basic obvious being the girls you approach are the wrong type or heck even the timing of when you make a move. Take a step back, reevaluate your approach and what you want out of a relationship and then go from there.

You don't have a girlfriend because you actually care about whether or not you've had one and come off as desperate. Stop looking for a relationship. Stop judging yourself. You're 24, look around and see how many men, way older men than you, are with way younger chicks than them, and don't whine like a small child who isn't getting candy.

And before you come back with the typical "You don't UNDERSTAND" response, I do. I got my first relationship for the first time at 20. I didn't care because no one was worth my time before then. Spent 3 years on and off until it was finally over. I'm alone again, but this time smarter.
