Kind of. I mean I wouldn't categorically say so but I've gotten that a lot before from women who had no interest & from fewer who were.

It’s not a bad sign at all! If I said ”aww thanks” that would be better than only ”thanks”... I use it with people I really like, romantically or as a friend.

lol no it's not a bad sign. I've said that to guys I was actually interested in who were also interested in me, past boyfriends mostly. Just means I'm flattered and it's like saying thank you.
Buddy. No one can interpret the feel of girl from her words. But we have some generic expressions about the girls. In this case, "aww" is just a normal way of acceptance. But it will matter that what you are expecting from her. Love or friendship?
I think it definitely depends. I've had that happen in real life and by text. Over text, it was usually a friend zone sign. In real life though, I'd say it depends.
To add, I meant to say, in real life, it could be legit that she likes the guy romantically. Remember, the friend zone isn't created by girls, it's usually the guys who put themselves there... most of the time not on purpose. All the guys' gotta do is make the right moves, talk, be himself etc and things will work out naturally. Otherwise, it will feel uncomfortable, unnatural, forced and will leave a bad impression.
Not necessarily, some girls just don't take compliments very well so a standard aww thanks is a way of saying thank you but kinda shutting it down before they get embarrassed.
Not exactly, but usually they are in a way complimenting what youve said. It's pretty much the same as a thank you. Though there are cases where the girl can be sarcastic.

Noo not neccercially
I say "aww" when someone's being so sweet or cute to me
I do it when I’m awkward.. I’m generally not great at taking compliments, from anyone!!
Depends on the situation I suppose and the context in which the girl says it

For me Awww thanks or thanks with a smiley means I'm kinda interested. A plain thanks means thank u now bugger off.

Umm, yeah...
I do believe that it means she's not interested in anything else friends until someone else comes along that suits her fancy.
Yes what a horrible thing, it means they hate you and want you dead.
I think I said that to you a few times before. :)
I couldn't stalk you because you put your profile on private. Bummer.
Doubtful, since you're clearly new here. But if you did, the application of this interpretation hurt my feelers every time.
I go private now to avoid all my GAG groupies. 😉
Hi. :)
send me a message because I'm a noob.

Aww can have different meanings... I said it when my boyfriend said something sweet or when a guy did something stupid. So you can't really tell.
Yes, "Aww Thanks" is girlspeak for "Fuck off ya weirdo."
Hmm never thought about it, but I would have to say no.
She may as well add the word "buddy" afterwards... Welcome to the friendzone
Not true. I have said Aww to a compliment coz it was really cute & I did have a crush on that guy. So keep your logics to yourself.
