Eh, not necessarily. Not to be cynical, but anyone with an iota of courtesy can say, or text "thank you," after a date. But it doesn't mean they necessarily like you or want to see you again.

You can thank someone for a good time just to be polite. For example, I was raised to thank anyone for taking me out, buying me dinner, being a gentleman and respectful, etc...
The true sign she had a good time is if she asks to see you again. Or if you ask for a second date, she says yes.
That should be your indicator of if she's interested or not. Not a text.

Yep absolutely that is a good sign. Means she appreciated you taking the time to go out with her and even more positive of a sign is that she is still thinking about the date. If she is anything like me she is pouring over the details and the little things that happened. The fact that she then decided to reach out and say thanks is a really good sign. I don't think that I can think of a scenario where it would be bad. Unless it was thank you but I don't think this is going to work out lol.

If that's all she says, then I wouldn't expect her to be interested in pursuing a relationship. I'm assuming you paid for the date and she was expressing gratitude for that. If that's all she's expressing then I don't think that's a good sign.

I would feel very positive about the date, unless it was a thank you with a " but I don't think this is going to work out" statement.
