Is it a good sign when a girl says "It was nice talking to you"?

I've only met her once but decided to add her on Facebook to try and take things further. I decided to end the conversation saying I had to go now. She replied saying "okay" then sent another message saying "goodnight, it was nice talking to you." So I said "i'll speak to you soon" so she replied "sure :)"

I'm not experienced in trying to talk to girls so I have no idea if she's just being polite or what.

No that's a good sign! It means that she wants you to know she enjoyed talking to you. If she hadn't it would have been a terse bye. She went out of her way to make sure you knew she had nice time talking to you! Make sure you text her soon!

It's about a half and half thing if through text you'll know your answer if you talk to her in real lyfe
