I'm in between pale and tan.
I'm going away and plan to get very tan. Does tan skin make eyes appear lighter?
Also I'm dying my hair black
I have a similar look :),minus the dark red hair, mine is almost black naturally, and I can say yes! A tan will definitely make eyes look lighter and teeth look whiter. Another thing I notice is that when any skin tone has a tan at least 2 shades darker (unless they have natural ivory colored skin), make up looks much better as well.
If I were you however, I would not dye my hair black. Since your hair is naturally a reddish color, go for a dark brown color like mahogany. Other wise, when you lose your tan, it will be to harsh on your skin. Also since your hair is lighter, the dark brown will look more organic and natural compared to jet black on you.check out the pics I'm going to download on my profile. :) I started doing a sunless tanner and my eyes look super green now compared to my natural light olive tone ,:)
I'm naturally blond lol
i think so. but, making your hair so dark might look bad. I think red hair is pretty, unless your skin is pretty dark black hair is going to look goth and fake. I think maybe strawberry blond or lighter red highlights would be prettier. and light hair actually brings out your eyes more. I lightened my hair from my natural which is a mix of light golden brown and dark golden blond to a medium slash light blond with highlights and now I am a true blond and everyone tells me how much more my green eyes stand out! I love the effect!
usually, girls look washed out when the make the hair drastically darker than its natural color.
I might do dark brown :) a lot of people say I look really good with the color
ok fine. I am just judging based on my experiences. I am pale with light eyes and I used to want deep brown hair to go with it but my hair dresser said if I want a more drastic color (because light brown is kind of dull let's face it, dark brown is much richer looking and blond hair is obviously striking too) I should go lighter not darker because of my coloring. but maybe you are not as pale as I am.

I have hazel/amber eyes and I notice that the darker I make my skin and hair (I went brunette for a while, bad idea), the more likely it is that people will assume my eyes are brown. If I stay white and keep my hair blond, people usually assume my eyes are green.
I think we look a tiny bit similar. Well its really hard for me to tan but when I do (okay only happened twice after vacation in Mexico and lasted like a week), it looked awful because tanning has a bit of an orange undertone sometimes and then its too close to my hair color. If you're trying to make your eye color stand out I'd think darker hair, not skin, would be better to achieve the effect.
I have really really REALLY dark, glassy eyes and whenever I put tan on, it makes it so much brighter and I have dark hair too so it makes you look generally more attractive. However I wouldn't let go of your gorgeous brown hair. Why don't you do like a red rinse on it? Make the red a little more vivid. That will look really gorgeous with your eyes and your tan. LIke how lindsay lohan was before she became stupid.
No necessarily, but I think it may have your eyes stand out more.
Darker skin, with light eyes is more noticeable.
