I don't mind guys shaving.. or wearing what they like as long as they don't look gay. Not that I have anything against gay guys.. I just mean that if you're straight, why act gay?
I wouldn't mind dating a metrosexual, but I would prefer the 'usual' brand of guy : )
Yea because in seinfeld, they say "im not gay!.... not that there's anything wrong with that".. loll you should watch it.. pretty hilarious.. even though its old.. but I'm only 20 =)
I have a very good friend who's metro. He's fun to hang out with, and I had a crush on him once...but with that guy in particular...i don't see myself ever having a lasting relationship with him...
but metrosexual doesn't make a person any different, it's just a part of their personality, a part of who they are.
Metrosexuals are extremely attractive. Those supposed "feminine qualities/interests" not only helps to improve their appearance, but makes it so there is more common ground between the male and female (ie. more to talk about, more to do together). Hooray for metrosexuals + the widespread popularity it is gaining!:)
I think it all depends on the girl. Personally, I like a guy who knows how to embrace his inner personal hygiene. If he dresses nicely and smells good, I'm happy because I know that he respects himself enough to take care of himself and dress well and self respect is also attractive.
Shaving legs might go a little far though, but aside from that, I think the meterosexual look is sexy.
i wouldn't care,if he's happy with him self then so would i. I just wouldn't want a guy who cares more about going shopping than me, or loves him self more than me. if your metro its cool just don't over do it that girls think your gay, girls want "clean cut guys" not an other "girl friend"
My best friend is metro to the max. And I know a few others as well, its all about the person - not what they exclaim when they find a "pretty" gucci jacket on sale. As boyfriend material, I'm almost more attracted to metro guys. But they need to know how to man up if the situation calls for it.
I mean that they should be able to defend you (I'm not talking fighting) and be strong if a situation comes up. No girl wants to be holding a torn apart guy all the time.
Yet guys are expected to be holding a girl that needs protection constantly from every little thing. I know several girls that would get p*ssed off if a guy stood up for them. Doesn't it seem somewhat condescending making the assumption that you can't stand up for yourself?
The responses here surprise me, because most in the entertainment industry are borderline gay/metro, their appearance is very important for their job. Waxing/shaving, makeup etc etc. Especially boy bands. And they seem very popular with the ladies. I don't get it.

I've been wondering the same thing. I think metros definitely get the ladies... AS FRIENDS. Think about it. Girls want a guy to take control and protecting them. I'm not talking about being abusive or dominant, but being the person in the relationship with the cahones. No offense to all the metros out there.

Why not? If he's a good person then it shouldn't be a big deal. People need to get rid of these notions of what a man and woman must do. If my boyfriend shaves then that's cool. If he spends longer than me in the bathroom then that's cool too. Honestly, the people on this site are sooo backwards in their views from what I can see.
By the way, gay men do not act a certain way, they're human beings and not every single human being in a group acts the same. It's like saying that all Americans are rude jack@$$'s who eat MacDonalds and goes to Starbucks every day, that isn't true. So let's stop this stereotyping. And saying that you "don't have anything against gays" is the go to phrase before someone says something homophobic.
TL;DR: I'm cool with it, gay men don't act a certain way and stop being homophobic.
ewhh! I find a man who shaves his chest disgoustin! so I would totally definetely find those who shave legs even more disgoustin! ewhhh legs! whyyy! I would never like to deal with them ... he is not a man :)
BIG LOL at you! I agree on the shaved legs, but a male chest needs to be shaved!!! I don't even know where you live, but here in germany there are only a few grizzly bears. every single male hollywood celeb has a shaved chest. you honestly want to convince me that you wouldn't date one of them??
Well well :D gettin in more detailes , I hate those grizzly bears either :D too much is too much ... anyway I find those who got jus a little bit of it really sexy ... but shave it!!! I don't know...i don't feel like :D because if they shave that means in like 24 hours min. I won't able to kiss him because of the tiny hairs that comes out..they cratch I think :D that's why I don't like shaved ones...
Well, sh*t, yeah. Meterosexual men are cool. But, I need him to have brains and "good" sense of humor, too.
He can do as much feminine sh*t as he wants as long as he doesn't f*** up the relationship. Plus, I have a fairly dominant personality so he can wear the skirt in the relationship, too.
like the guys who don't spend more time than me in the bath room, guys who are like into working in the yard, who are strong and can pick me up on their shouder lol. yeah
Lol! do you think metrosexual boys aren't able to pick you up on their shoulder? metrosexual doesn't mean being weak. do you know cristiano ronaldo? what do you think about him???

OH lol nvm then. it doesn't matter though, but I would feel more self-conscious about how I looked if my guy was really into looks and stuff like that. sometimes I dress up but most days I'm in snow board gear lol (I live up north btw)
honesly,i think that's the most amazing thing I've ever heard. a guy tha takes care of himself is hot, cleanlyness it nextto godlyness.thats great I think there totally hot.it takes a lot to be up front like that.i give props to anyguy like that.metrosexuals is amazing
I'm not attracted to them. If they're hot, I might have a fling, but mostly, they're disgusting. Too feminine, for sure. I like guys who can get dirty 0=] and show some dominance.
I don't care that much, but I guess it would be kind of unnerving, plus I'd probably think he's gay. Like that guy in the picture, he's hot but I wouldn't think about him because I'd think he was gay.
Do you also think a guy like him is unable to protect you? I'm just asking because most girls think metrosexuals aren't able to protect them. could you please explain to me what they mean? protecting from what???? they make it sound so stupid. as if a guy was forced to knock out at least 3 "evil" men when they go out on a date.
Then wtf are they talking about all the time??? that protecting sh*t is getting on my nerves. taking care of a girl is like taking care of a baby, don't you think??
I like guys like that but would be a little slow to approach them because my first thought would be that they were gay but if I became friends with them and found out they weren't I would be attracted to them.
I admire them for being so brave to just be themselves =) They don't really bother me. Then again I've never actually met one in person...I might act differently around them if I did know one =]

It's not your boy friends job to defend you your using him and that's disgusting.

But you don't think a shaved chest looks unsexy?
They look totally sexy ! they are wow !.. but I don't know how it feels :$
Let me tell you this: a shaved chest won't hurt you ;)
Lol then thumbs up for shaved chest! :D
ps : I still find more sexy those who got little bit of it ;)
You need to date my friend then. he is one of those guys who got just a little bit. (he's single right now lol)
Well, sh*t, yeah. Meterosexual men are cool. But, I need him to have brains and "good" sense of humor, too.

Lol. it must suck to be your "man".
some are hot
but I deep down inside
personally
like the guys who don't spend more time than me in the bath room, guys who are like into working in the yard, who are strong and can pick me up on their shouder lol. yeah

Wow, you're actually the first one here that thinks metrosexuals are hot.
In my own opinion, I'm not attracted to them types of guys. I've no reason why I'm not, I'm just not.
They aren't too feminine, they aren't disgusting, but they aren't exactly manly and manly is what I look for in a guy...
If they're too metro then they won't know how to act properly if something comes up...
Metro guy's are pretty cool though :)
Act properly if something comes up? what do you mean?
Like if they need to act more of a man than they show. If that makes sense..
When do they need to act more of a man than they show? (besides while having sex)
they shouldn't cry when someone makes fun of them or what???? please gimme an example.
Not my type.
I'm not attracted to them. If they're hot, I might have a fling, but mostly, they're disgusting. Too feminine, for sure. I like guys who can get dirty 0=] and show some dominance.
Show some dominance? Why would you want a man to be trying to dominate you?
I don't care that much, but I guess it would be kind of unnerving, plus I'd probably think he's gay. Like that guy in the picture, he's hot but I wouldn't think about him because I'd think he was gay.

LMAO! Nah I don't really need "protecting" I guess.
Then wtf are they talking about all the time??? that protecting sh*t is getting on my nerves. taking care of a girl is like taking care of a baby, don't you think??
Haha I know, like there aren't many things on a daily basis that girls need protecting from.
I'm only 6'0 and I'm pretty sure girls over 4'9 don't dare to date me cause I'm too small to protect them. hahahaha.....
(at least you know how ridiculous your sex behaves.)
Umm I'm not attracted to them at all.
It's just stupid if a guy shaves his legs or spends more time than you getting ready.
It's a total turn off regarding a boyfriend material guy.
As a friend they would be fun hahah.
I like guys like that but would be a little slow to approach them because my first thought would be that they were gay but if I became friends with them and found out they weren't I would be attracted to them.
I prefer the man to be the laid back one in the relationship... Does not make too much of an effort etc.
I admire them for being so brave to just be themselves =) They don't really bother me. Then again I've never actually met one in person...I might act differently around them if I did know one =]
