Do shy girls hide their attraction?

So I only see her twice a week for an hour and I can't tell if she likes me or not. She started talking to me the second week of class. She talks to me more than anyone in the class so that's good and she sits by me in the library. I think she's shy just because she doesn't really talk a whole unless I talk to her. She makes good eye contact and smiles also walks with me after class.

She never really touches me or compliments me though. Someone once told me though that shy girls think they are being obvious when they aren't. I guess I haven't really touched her or showed major signs either though. The most I did was playfully tease her and she just giggled and told me to shut up. could she be hiding that she likes me. I think she'd be at least a little interested because she doesn't avoid me but I'll let you guys decide.

Coming from a shy girl, we do hide our attraction since we don't know if the guy we like has the same feelings. Since you havn't really touched her or complimented her a lot, she isn't sure if it's acceptable for her to do that too. It takes time to open up a shy girl but it's worth it.
