Why does he stare at me when he likes someone else?

this guy and I know he likes this other girl...he told me so...why does he continue to stare at me? I used to think he liked me but now I know he likes someone else so it's creeping me out...? is he like testing me or something O.o

he asked me for advice on what he should do...im not much for games -i think its childish but I'm thinking of asking him "as a brother" that there's this guy that keeps looking at me and what should I do..i want to see what he says-if he can give me a reason-but I can't decide...what do you think?

Maybe he just likes the way you look.

I wouldn't ask him unless you're really, really creeped out. I get the sense that you're really mostly annoyed because you like him and want more than his eyeballs on you and if that's the case, just put him in the guys-who-aren't-datable category and let it go.

Consider the following:

1.) maybe he realized he does like you

2.) maybe he wants to make you jealous

3.) maybe he watches you to see if it bothers you because he likes to see you upset?
