How To Have An Alter Ego

Simply, an alter ego is fun and exciting. Not only that, you can accomplish a whole lot. When finding a persona for your alter ego I would suggest choosing traits and or characteristics you wish you had. Your regular ego is the same old you who either does or dosen't step outside your comfort zone. Your alter ego would have a comfort zone of your choice that could be altered at any giving time.

It's best to make a list of traits you wish you had or choose personalities from people or characters you know. Mix and match it and make those traits your own.

Next, choose your style. What kind of clothing do you want this person to wear? Try finding clothes to match the personality. For example, if your disired trait is "cool" throw some shades on or you could make minor wardrobe changes as simple as rolling up your sleeves.

Then, create a name for your person. This name has no guide lines. You can virtually come up with any name you want. It would be best for you to make a name describing the personality.

Lastly, test and tweak. Socialize... or don't with your new self. Do the things that you've always wanted to do. Say the things that you always wanted to say. Have a new years resolution? Maybe your character can help with that.
