Do guys like cuddling while falling asleep or is that just a girl thing?

My ex hated cuddling before/during sleep, he didn't even like sharing the same blankets, lol. I hated that, and he rarely compromised either. My current boyfriend loves cuddling and falls asleep on/wrapped around me all the time. I love it, but the only times I don't enjoy it are when he's fallen asleep and is napping on me and I'm not sleepy, because its hard to slide out from under him on the couch if I need to get up. And if I'm too warm. I get overheated easily and my guy is often cold, yet his body puts off SO much heat. If I'm too warm, I can't sleep, so I edge away a bit and keep contact away from my torso, but still like to remain touching in some way. It bugs him sometimes but he understands why i occasionally reject his cuddle advances, so it's no big deal. =]

You bet! :) Most of the guys I've dated love to cuddle. Having their woman's head on their chest while they fall asleep makes them feel very manly, because it's a sign of protectiveness, that you feel safer with them laying there. Letting him be the "big spoon" shows him that you trust him being right up against the goods while you're vulnerable sleeping; letting him be "little spoon" shows him how much you cherish him. (Yes ladies, sometimes it's OK to be the Big Spoon!)

I love cuddling, but not while trying to fall asleep. When I know my partner is trying to fall asleep and I know that my breathe could be hitting her neck, hitting her neck, hitting her neck... it makes me feel like a leaky faucet, loud clock, or some other kind of faintly-repeating annoyance, which makes me very self-conscious and alert, which is the exact opposite of what I need in order to fall asleep. When we have no intention of sleeping though, it's enjoyable :)

I love cuddling while falling asleep! I love it especially when its raining outside and we are in bed together. She lies in my arms and we look outside at the rain drops falling on the willow tree outside my window. She will be wearing her wool sweater and I will be wearing my big cozy college hoodie. Lol I'm sorry for my cuddling rant, its just that those times have been one of the best parts of our relationship.

I like cuddling, but unless I'm dead ass tired I wouldn't want to fall asleep. I tend to have an extremely difficult time falling asleep (I've had chronic Insomnia since birth) and I toss, turn and move for up to an hour, let alone during the night.

So if I cuddle it will most likely not end in me falling asleep.

Girl thing generally speaking. My bf doesn't like to cuddle because he gets a hard on and that's apparently uncomfortable. No idea if that's just some crazy excuse he came up with so he won't have to cuddle or what.
