I just caught my next door neighbor totally checking me out me from his window. Should I be flattered or freak out?

I have a next door neighbor and our houses are really close together. My bedroom window is only about 20 feet from his. I totally caught him peeking at me from his window. He is older, but totally cool and friends with my parents and is actually kind of cute. So should I be totally freaked out about this and tell my mother or just be flattered that he was checking me out?

OK, so here's a follow on question. I can totally see right into his room too if he has his lights on at night. So if I peeked in on him when he was undressing wouldn't that make us even?

be whatever you want. if he's cute, the next time you see him checking you out, look him dead in the eyes and flash him or start playing with yourself for his enjoyment. you can also surprise him by knocking on his window when his parents aren't home, i guarantee every teenage boy with a hot neighbor has fantasized about that. Or you know, if he's ugly just don't undress near an open window. Telling your parents is just more trouble than its worth either way.

Why should you be freaked out? Guys check girls out. Earth goes round sun. Trees grow. Water is wet. Pope's catholic. Guys are gonna look at you. A lot. It's normal, just take it as a compliment and be done. When you hit your 30s and 40s guys will stop looking and then you'll miss it, so enjoy it while it lasts.

I'd be a bit creeped out, maybe it was just terrible timing and the guy happened to want to look out his window, and ended up making eye contact with you, but still... its weird. You should probably tell your parents, regardless if he's hot, and get like dark shades so he can't see in.

It depends. If he was like hard core stalking with a pair of binoculars then it's really creepy but if he just saw something that caught his attention and couldn't look away then it's fine. We've all been caught staring before lol.

It really depends on how old you are and how old he is. It says you're under 18, so I'd be worried just how big of an age difference it is. Just be glad he's not an ugly guy though. That would be beyond creepy and wrong.
