If a guy pulls up his shirt to show his abs, is he trying to impress you because he likes you orrrr?

Okay so there's this guy in my class and he sits right across from me at our table of four. So we've been in the same class for a couple weeks now, but just this week, he started like pulling up his shirt and like rubbing his abs. I know that sounds weird, but that's what he does. No lie. This is the first time he's done this and I'm just wondering what is he doing that for? Like I can see in the corner of my eye that he's looking at me to see if he's getting my attention, but I don't know if that's because he wants to impress me because he likes me or if he is just showing off.. I believe the latter is true, but I'm not sure.. any thoughts?

I often just pick my T shirt and press it under my chin trying to adjust belt. That doesn't mean I am showing someone my abs off, If I wanna do it. Id just take it off and no he isn't looking at you from corner of his eyes. Stop overthinking lol, he's probably banging some chick as we speak

Haha I don't know that's weird the only time I lift my shirt is when i play bball and emberass somebody lol. Then I go to their wife or gf and lift my shirt. I don't find that a good way to flirt I only do it to get someone mad.
