so a guy friend gave me one of his soccer jerseys for barcelona because I saw him wearing it and I commented that I love barcelona. does this indicate that he likes me/ thinks of me as more than a friend?

Kidding aside, although I have loaned jersey's to my female friends on a number of occasions regardless of whether or not I'm into them, I think in this case it sounds like there's a decent chance he likes you.

well, not a random girl. a close friend.

In that case then its not the best sign to go off on when it comes to telling if he's interested or not. But it sounds like he trusts you.
