Can guys fake crying?

As title asks can you or is it really the waterworks...
I'm trying to figure it out my ex started to cry when I said I didn't want to be with him. Swearing he didn't cheat on me.. Started crying when he said that there's a lot that reminds him of me.. How I deserve to be happy even if its not him that's making me happy.. So real or fake?

I can fake, doesn't always work though.
I dont really fake it in front of others. Only faked it in front of my gym teacher once. I was in lots of pain because i already pushed myself too far. Then i tell teacher i need to take a break and sit down. Then he said i was just finding an excuse and made me continue, so i ran like 5 or 10 meters and faked some tears. That convinced my teacher to give me a break.
I usually dont fake it, because its just so stupid to do. Its like giving other people a wrong idea. With the gym teacher was the only time i faked it (and in front of a mirror to see if i was capable of doing it).
It usually is really hard to tell if someone is faking it though.

I dont know, but I am a girl and can't fake cry. Some people who can act well can, but not everyone it depends.

Hard to say about your ex. But I have known guys to fake cry. Most people who get caught cheating don't cry because they are sorry, they cry because they got caught. You seem like a great girlfriend. If he didn't want to let you go, he wouldn't have cheated. Anyone can get emotional about losing someone. It will take a real man, to work hard to earn your trust back. Give it time, before you decide. Time heals and reveals all things.

Well, i've cried genuinely every time I do, and in a sort of relative situation to your ex's, I cried for days, weeks, every time something reminded me of a certain someone. I still can't listen to some songs, be in certain situations, and just live like I did before.

I did talk to girl. She says they had sex once and he says he never had sex with her she said he was their Christmas eve he says he wasn't which is messed up because I was with him 2 days prior at a football game he took me to my first ever supposedly wanting to make sure it was something special

Can't say if this situation he was real or fake but yes there are guys who do cry genuinely and there are those who can manage the crocodile ones :-)

Some guys can, but if they usually plan it. I think your ex wants you back simply cause he was used to you, but the crying was not necessary. It felt like an exagération to me.

depends, but fake crying for me is so so. I act in plays and stuff fairly often so its a required skill, but in a situation where Im trying to get what I want i won't be able to cry at all.

Thanks and I think he realized that. He was like I really fucked up.. when he asked me what he could do to make it betteri I said I don't think there is anything you could do damage has been done and I don't trust you wether or not you swear on things you care about. Supposedly the thought of being with someone else made him cry.. i

Most guys have trouble crying even when we're genuinely sad because it's so ingrained in our culture that we have to act tough and that men don't cry. So women pretty much have the monopoly on fake crying with a few rare exceptions.
