Why does he talk about me to his friends?

I text this guy funny things, and I was acting like I was somebody else, basically I was pranking him. I was saying absurd things, and he told me he texted his friend the convo, but I know his friend so it's pretty awkward lol. He seems to text this guy I know everything I do! He took a video of me once and sent it to his friend, and his friend is married , so he's not trying to hook me up with his friend or anything, plus he's really jealous and I highly doubt that. But why does he seem to text his friend things that are associate with me?

When I was younger (like 19 yo) I had a best friend who was like 28 years old and was a very wise guy. He was very close to
Me, we did everything together, we shared the same interest and so on. We were better than brothers. He was a more experienced version of myself. Also he was a lawyer and judge. I used to talk to him a lot and ask for his advise. Also about girls, he was a smart man, and he had enough experience to kinda know what kinda of a girl I'm dating. And also tell
Me if she was any good or whatever. So that could be the case

He could well be pretty close to this friend of his and is getting his opinions on various things including you.

But this habit raises a red flag for sure :-) Sending videos, information and pictures of a girl whether she's a gf or not to someone else is weird and unsafe (for the girl)

Yes I agree! I said the same thing. I just find it odd that it seems that every little thing we do, he has to go to his friend about it. Almost looking for validation in a way. It's bizarre to me, but oh well haha. Thank you! :)

Sounds like thats his best friend and he tells him everything thats going on in his life, so he does it as well telling him about you and showing him stuff
