What does it mean when you share an umbrella with your crush?

Long story short, it was raining after class and I offered to share an umbrella with my crush and walked/talked with him til we got to his class. My umbrella was pretty small so we were walking really close. Would a guy do that with a girl he wasn't interested in?

Also I wouldn't call us good friends or anything, we just know that the other one exists, hang around each other in class, and have a shit ton in common. So it wasn't normal for me to offer.

Depends of were friends and she's attractive id do it. If we friends and not attractive id be less willing. As i don't want people cussing me. If i was interested in her i would definitely do it so... yeah

I would not assume he knows you are interested. Sharing an umbrella isn't really a move, it's just kind.

Maybe he just didn't want to get wet. Or thinks it would be rude to say no, and walk alone in the rain
