Is he ignoring me because I called him "bruv"?

I called this guy I'm talking to bruv and he said "I'm not your bruv talk like a normal girl."
(If you didn't know, bruv means brother.)
I replied, "but you are my bruv though," and he said ok.
I called him bruv a second time and he was like "call me bruv again and I'm gonna ignore you"
And I said to him "why does it bother you so much? And no you would never ignore me"

But he ignored this message :(
Is he ignoring me coz I said he would never ignore me and is trying to prove a point?
I really don't understand why I can't call him bruv, it's nothing personal its a habit!!
I need to know what to do :(

I don't think he has a problem being referred to as a brother. He had a problem with the use of "bruv". He blatantly told you. Yet you ignored him. Then he warned you again and you still ignored him.

The point he's trying to prove is not that he will ignore you because you said he would never. The point is... he'll ignore you because you don't take what he says into consideration. Don't call the guy bruv. It's really that simple :)

I can't stand it when girls use the term "bruv". Even worse is when you hear girls call other girls "bruv". It just sounds so f***** dumb

But it's not worth ignoring someone over it!! I'm 100% sure most of his friends that are girls say it, it's just a word everyone says from time to time.
He also has a problem with me calling him fam

Read what @purple_daffodils90 said she's 100 he asked you not to call him something and you disregarded him. Now if you're looking for clues as if he's mad because he likes you and doest liked being classified as family that's your imagination playing with your hormones if you like him tell him don't play games.
