Now he liked a few more random pictures of just stuff I've posted. I told him merry Christmas yesterday in a message.. He didn't respond but he liked more pics instead.

I wouldn't look too deeply into anything involving likes on any social media. I mean, if he starts liking more than one pic that are recent then he is definitely noticing you physically. But you guys have barely spoken or messaged each other, and he didn't even reply to you. So unless he's really shy, i would just take the like as a slight confidence booster and carry on with your day. Or you could be bold and message him saying like "oh i see that you liked my picture eh? :P" or something and see if he willl have a convo with you for a bit.

He's given you an excuse to talk to him, so utilize it. If he doesn't keep the conversation going, let him know that it was fun chatting with him and you'd like to do it again.

Basically, if many guys will rate you at almost 4 or better, then there are some guys out there who'll rate/like whatever you've got going on. Maybe less of them, rather than more - but there'll be some.
