What does it mean a guy wants to study with you?

A guy in class asked me if he wanted to study together and I replied yes. Even though he doesn't quite know how to study and material he still chosed to study with me. And I also don't really know how to study lol. Is it just a way to get close to me?

it could be both, he may like you and want to spend quality time getting to know you or he may just want a study buddy my suggestion is follow his body language

Well we were studying but a little bit and there we would talk about other things then get back on topic oh and the one thing I was not expecting was that he was applying chap stick. But I don't want to over think it. It was probably cuz his lips were dry xD

I would just assume that he just wants to study until he shows actual signs of being into you.

I'm was starting to think that but to make it even more complicating I think his friend in class is also into me. He would make side glances to me, try to talk to me in class when the guy that asked me to study was out of class and last but not least he asked me if I wanted to study together with him but I replied I'm sorry I was already studying with some one that day. And from after that day he seems to be persistent with me after I declined. Just the other day he came in class and said hey beautiful but he said it to his friend that I was studying with. He replied if he said that to me but didn't say and said why don't you tell her that lol. Yea... And I'm a very shy person
