Why do guys find gamer girls so attractive?

I'm a teen girl who plays video games. Gamer girl is not my title. I play a lot of Call of duty including but not limited to bo2 and Adv warfare. Everytime I'm online (xbox live) all the guys are always so flirtatious and annoying. I know girl gamers are rare but they act as if they've never encountered a female before and my guy friends irl always talk about how cool it is that I'm into video games but I just don't get it. I used to love the attention but now that I've gotten more into it, I'm just like, "God damn, let me kill people in peace, you peasants!"

I think the attention girls get in gaming spaces is really creepy and I wish guys would calm the hell down, however, I do understand the interest.
I mean, I think most guys want to share common interests with their partners, and most girls are, frankly, dull as fuck. When guys see girls in these spaces, I think a lot of them are interested in making a new friend but the majority are just inept and unable to talk to girls in a way that doesn't scare them off.

Well, it's cool to find a girl who likes the same things we do. At least it can be one more thing to do together.

Personally I never flirted with a gamer girl, but with one I found I did have an interesting conversation that I can say what it was about here because you're under 18 xD

Because you have common hobbies and they can relate. Lots of guys including me want a chick that can play. It's rare to find one, so when one is found... well you know what happens.
