Do guys still wear jockstraps to gym class?

Watching old TV and it seemed like the norm back then. Also in a lot of movies it portrays guys as always wearing their jockstraps for gym. It was just part of the uniform. I'm asking because I'm a gym class aid this semester and I have to make sure all the freshmen have the right uniform but I'm scared to ask the teacher cuz he's male and it's awkward. Also how do I check for that? Do the bat test and hit all the guys "down there" to see if they're wearing them? Help

Most school districts it's requiref as part of the uniform.

Forget the "bat check" if you applied that to one of my sons I would have sued you the school district and the state.

As a female teacher you should not be having any contact with the boys anyway.

Remember how hard you worked for your teaching credential it can be taken away just that fast.

no no I'm a senior at the high school! We get credit for a class if we help out the gym teachers for a semester. So thats why I'm doing it and also I was thinking just like a tap with a plastic one nothing painful! How else do they check?

Oh your a Senior well that clears it up I would sue your parents the teacher over seeing you and the school district I would sue for your college fund your patents savings are you getting the picture?

FORGET ABOUT A CUP CHECK not your concern and you need to really think hard at what your actions can have consequences on your parents as they lose everything a simple tearful "sorry" won't make up for your actions to humiliate a child.

Yes you let them play and when they get hit in the groin and are on the ground in pain you can walk up to them and say now don't you wish you had not lied to the PE teacher?

when i used to play baseball as a kid

do not touch a kids balls to mak sure they are strapped, it shouldn't matter what underwear they wear, unless a cup is required for activities,
just ask if they are wearing them, and address the whole class

One way to check is to have them line-up and do toe touching exercises and walk behind them to see if they have an obvious strap under their gym shorts diagonally crossing each of their ass cheeks when the reach for the floor.
I've never seen the point of them! It's nothing more than a thick, loose elastic sack that you drop your nuts into. How is THAT supposed to keep me from getting hurt from taking a direct hit?
As to whether they still wear them, I haven't a clue!

There's nothing wrong to ask your teacher. Guys even now wear jockstrap. My female trainer suggested me to wear thongs. Thongs provide better support to testicle and while working you need ti sweat a lot so she doesn't allow us to wear anything. During workout i onky wear thongs my whole body is uncovered.
