Why is my crush staring at me with awkward smile? Guys, what does this mean?

I was walking on my way to the mall, I saw my crush and he noticed me too. I wave and say hi to him and he said hi too. since then he was staring at me with his awkward smile. He asked me if where am i going. I told him that I'm going to the mall ( even it was so obvious ) and he told me that I look cute and look like a doll. I'm shocked and bcoz of that I forgot what did I reply to him. he then ask me again where am i going (yeah again) he's still staring at me.. until he said he's going.. and when im about to go he said something (business thing and it requires me to go to their unit) so yeah I just told him that I'll do it that time.

I did go for it. ahahahaha I just actually confess to him. I told him that I think I like him and I want to know him more. I hope this confession will not affect our friendship, I'm not in a hurry for everything and I'm just like him waiting for the right one. he actually said its okay with him and we're friends.. so my main point of knowing him more is okay for him. every time we see each other he seems normal and he sometimes talk about himself :)
