What are the physical & personality traits (or stereotypes) the make a "nice guy"?
I'm just curious what you think a "nice guy" is
And what you think someone who says they're a "nice guy" actually is.
Almost like a compare and contrast
... Sometimes I wonder if I fall into the category of "nice guy" or maybe I don't have the personality & physical features (because I think looking like a bush/wolfman doesn't fit the description and I can be pretty loud & apparent amongst a crowd)
My stereotype/interpretation of a guy claiming to be one is: A guy with a boring generic look with a boring generic personality complaining about never getting respect and so on because they never make their prescence known and are too wimpy to do anything about it due to their victim complex that they self-induce...
What an actually nice guy (or girl) is in my opinion - there is no look because it's a ubiquitous term and purely descriping a single characteristic which is being polite, kind, caring, compassionate, respectful (et-cetra) of other people. So as long as you embody most of those traits most of the time then you are considered "nice".

Whenever I met a nice guy they were taller than 6 feet.. Haha Funny how it turned out. =)
Yeah, and they do hang out either at video game stores or at home... or at stores that sell technology in general.
Personality: Nice (obviously), sweet, funny (but shy to make it know right off the bat), smart (most of them anyways), well spoken (even if he stutters).
Physique: similar to what the picture describes - a bit tubby or really skinny (can be really really skinny), has soft hands most of the time (more video games than hard physical labor), not necessarily cheap shoes, though. O. o
There's a stereotype image/idea of a "nice guy" that I'm really starting to resent because there's a certain entitlement they have to their whining and complaining that I just find redundant and annoying.
Usually it involves girls/women and the lack of affection/relationships (IE - sex) because they're pursuing shallow/vain woman who don't care about them and that they have nothing in common with. Basically their only attraction is a sexually one and they've watered-down their personality to a generic/untreatening marmalade while bottling their true emotion/intentions and by doing that they've made there-selves even more unattractive & undesirable. <- that's the stereotype that I sometimes come across... so in a way they actually are not "nice" guys, they're just lying to themselves & everyone else.
I know, it was such a hard choice with all of these thought provoking comments that people left but yours stood-out amongst these great scholars & philosophers...
