There's a girl I like & I'm trying to figure her out. When I look at her she will always match my stare usually until I look away after a few secs. Could that be a sign of interest or is she looking because I am?

Well, is she just staring or is there any facial expressions,i.e.smile or something? It could either be she thinks you look good, she's wondering why you keep looking at her, she thinks you're weird not saying I know you to say you're weird it's just an example. I've been in situations like this and I usually look back at a guy and smile if I think he's cute or if he's the type I wouldn't be interested in I give them a weird look like 'what the heck are you looking at' and then stop looking at them...I think she might be interested in you..you probably won't know for sure unless you start talking to her :) good luck

But if she's always the one catching you... it can have a lot of different reasons.

Therefore...

Try to see if she also looks at you, when you're not staring at her... Try to "catch" her staring at you. If she does look at you when you're not staring, then chances are, she's interested.

To put it simply, yes, she is interested in you. try holding the gaze and not looking away and see what happens. she could be flirting or if she is a total bitch(which I don't really think she is) then she would just be messing with you. either way if you hold the gaze then you will get your answer.

also with some girls it could help to just ask her straight up
