What does he really mean when he jokingly says "I hate you"?

I like this guy. We met a few weeks ago from a mutual friend and starting snapchatting each other as friends. We became pretty close fast and we formed like a love-hate relationship. Then I started liking him and I feel like he might too but i'm not sure. He's always telling me how much he hates me or calls me "hoe" or "bitch" jokingly and I do the same things to him. He also always says little bitchy comments to me. He doesn't mean it and neither do I, we both know we're joking. Do you think he acts like an ass because he likes me and is flirting or no?

Usually when someone acts that way around another girl, they do like them. He's not worth it if he continues doing this, trust me. It depends on you as well, do you enjoy this? If so, you can play along with his game as well

Thats either him teasing the girl he like. You. Or its jus him taling like that so if ur up for that then. yeah its flirting guys will tease u but its flirting to a certain point that u have to decide

I totally agree with the comment below. Things will be okay if you enjoy the banter. If not, then it won't. A girl did that to me and I didn't like it. So I didn't pursue her.
