We are close. When I started yawning he pulled me into his chest so I could relax. Then I rested on his lap and he just rubbed my waist and back and stroked my cheek and hair.

I was really tired and we were watching a movie on the couch. I started yawning and my eyes started to close so he pulled me into his chest and I was close to falling asleep. I wanted to lay down though so I rested on his lap. He said it was fine.

It's been known to happen. A light touch there (even in a non sexual way) can wake that guy up.
