Why are Asian guys so beta and black guys so alpha?

Western culture is a culture that celebrates the more rebellious attitudes and embraces personal freedom over personal sacrifice and therefore sees rule breakers as being stronger and braver, and sees those that follow the rules as weaker and too afraid to step out of line. Asian culture is about following the rules even if that means it takes personal sacrifice. Black culture is about not being afraid of stepping outside the rules and embracing personal freedom. That isn't surprising considering that they have had to fight for their personal freedoms for so long. Therefore we tend to see blacks as more alpha and Asians as more beta.

If we grew up in a culture dedicated to personal sacrifice as oppose to personal freedom then our ideas on what is Alpha and Beta would be very different. Imagine the samurai that follows the rules to the point that he takes his own life simply because he was told to. In western culture killing yourself because you were told to would be seen as weakness, and not as strength. The samurai were definitely not beta, yet our culture would have a hard time understanding or respecting that type of strength.

I don't know why people want to whine about if the words alpha and beta. They are taking it way to seriously. They are just descriptive words used to explain a list of traits the person has and how those traits are valued in our society.

I pick fights with those who are physically stronger than me because of how i feel about their attitudes, regardless of their size. some Asians are like that because it's a cultural behaviour where people are polite and keep things to themselves. In Asia, you'll get judged, ripped and targetted if you express yourself a lot so people avoid judgement by keeping to themselves.

I'm pretty sure primates, monkeys and humans included, have what is called a social hierarchy. Why in the fuck would a social creature with fully functioning and fairly complex cognitive structures need to establish an alpha, beta, etc?

The term alpha is used in referring to chimpanzees and gorillas, it's describing their social hierarchy. Most human males have sex and our species is more or less monogamous so i don't think the terms make much sense with humans.

Not that I believe any of this alpha/beta shit in the first place, but if anything, Asian guys are definitely not beta. Assuming you're talking about how many of them lack looking like they live in the weight-room, a man in my eyes is not defined by how big his biceps/forearms are. I think it's incredibly sexy that Asian guys can for the most-part not give into that social ideal and still keep level-headed. Still keep their composure, handle every situation using reason versus a jump in testosterone.

My boyfriend is Asian, as are a lot of my friends. None of the generalizations you used apply to them in the slightest. My boyfriend especially, marches to the beat of his own drum. Does whatever he wants, sometimes a bit too much in my opinion. He's free as fuck, could live on his own but simply respects his parents and because of that, helps contribute to any costs they have such as for groceries and such.
Whether that make him 'beta' or not, I'd way rather be with a beta than being with an 'alpha' who is so independent he'll knock a chick up and leave her to raise the child on her own while he goes and does blow or whatever in a club every weekend.

A lot of guys here are of normal size. In terms of confidence and school stuff, I think that solely depends on one's attitude or preference.
