Why did he send me drunk photos of him?

So me and my boyfriend are in a long distance relationship. We had fights lately and the latest one was I was joking that I hacked his iCloud and saw pictures of girls, but that was a joke. Then he told me that why am I invading his privacy (i told him that because he kept asking to log off because he's going to sleep? That i didn't believe him because i know for a fact that he's just going to do something else instead of spending time with me) he got so mad with me just asking a little more time, the fact that we're in a long distance and we just talk by means of chatting. So i went to sleep and turned off my phone. When I got up, i saw pictures of him drunk, with his friends. And he's even posing on the camera! Wtf? What is the message he wants to deliver? Its been 2 days and he hasn't log in online to talk to me. I don't understand this behaviour at all.

If he had plans he probably felt like were too demanding. Alcohol and complaining to friends about girlfriend=what you got. Drunk photos to send the message that he has a life. His friends were probably hassling him to go out. A response of 'I can't I'm going to be skyline with my girlfriend" will fly only a few times before the term "pussy whipped" gets thrown around. In a way it was him saying he's not pussy whipped

So does this mean that I should just let him do whatever he wants to do? When he was in town he wasn't like that. Its just such a pain in the head that he's changing because of the new friends he got. Sometimes he gets too angry quickly on most things. I dont understand anymore

First off, you don't trust him, and you're trying to compensate for not seeing him, by having prolonged online correspondence, but it's just not getting your needs met, and secondly, he was throwing it in your face that he went out, instead of to bed, because he was trying to spite you. You both sound a bit immature, starting fights and trying to hurt each other.
