Why had my ex sent me pics of himself?

A month ago he broke up with me, and a week after that I texted him, asking if we could shortly meet for a talk. He said he doesn’t want to and I left him alone. A couple of days ago all of the sudden he texted me, asking how am I doing, I was surprised and asked him why is he texting me because I kinda thought he doesn’t want anything to do with me since he didn’t even wanna see me a couple of weeks ago. He said that he just wanted to know how I’m doing, then told me he’s on holiday rn. I asked him to send me the pics of the landscapes he took because he‘s on holiday in a very beautiful place and I genuinely wanted to see the pics. I was also on holiday a couple of days before him, told him about as well. He then said he doesn’t know if he should send me the pics because he is in warm sunny place right now and I was freezing on my holiday (the weather was shitty in the place I went, I told him about that before). But if I want to, he’ll do it, I said «as you wish». He didn’t answer me for two days and all of the sudden sent me the pics tonight, half of those pics are just him posing on a nice background. Am I overthinking or does it mean something? Cause I only asked for the pics of the landscapes and nature and he decided all of the sudden send me the pics of him as well. It’s not like he changed or looks better now, so I don’t think he wanted to brag about his «glow up» or something like that. I personally only send a pics of the landscapes if I’m on holiday and someone asks me to send the pics, I only include myself if someone asks for a pic of me specifically. So I don’t really understand if that means something from his side, I don’t wanna overthink it and have false hopes. And I would really appreciate other men‘s answers since I think that men would understand this logic better. Would be great to hear other girl‘s opinions as well. Thank you in advance!

How does it make sense? He’s the one who dumped me, I would understand it if I was the one who dumped him. But he was the one who decided to broke up, isn’t it pretty clear already that he is doing well without me?
