Guys, what does it mean if you hug a guy and he angles it so your boobs don't touch him?

I'm a huggy person but something I've noticed is that when I hug this guy he always angles it so my boobs don't touch him. And since I'm also a "busty girl" that's a wide angle. I know some girls feel uncomfortable with their boobs getting squished up against the person that they're hugging so they angle it to avoid contact. But that's the first time I've had a guy do that; even my male relatives don't make an issue out of my boobs getting smushed up against them. I mean maybe he's trying to make it less "awkward" but it's only awkward at all because he's making a thing out of it and it makes me feel weird. Why would a guy do this and girls, did you know any guys who make an issue out of it?

I don't know, it's like what you said describes me somewhat. Whenever I hug my female cousins or friends (which is not often), I tend to avoid my chest touching their boobs, because I would let that happen only with a girl I'm in a relationship with.

Yeah, most guys don't do that. It's just that some of us feel awkward when we have to hug a girl who is not our girlfriend, and her boobs get squished against our chests. The more 'conservative' among us men feel that way.

I actually feel like women are more conscious of boobs then men in a hug. I guess a hug isn't sexual so it doesn't trigger same thoughts? I mean if I am super attracted to a girl it will cross my mind. But like I hug relatives and dont think abut their boobs.

not really, most of the time girls weren't conscious with their chest when hugging unless it's in the way or something. There was a question about this before, and most girls said they weren't conscious.

The only guys who do this are my male relatives and they don't even really do it to an extreme. They just make the hugs super brief.

It's an attempt to be polite, society says don't touch a girl boobs, so many guys do their best to avoid touching them.

So long as guys aren't allowed to treat them the same as the arms or shoulders or anything else that is inconsequential to being touched, it will always be a thing automatically.

What girls like most about hugs is the sense of security that it invokes. But there's two catches
1. The person that she's hugging has to be a guy that she trusts
2. It has to be a full hug with all of the torso from the shoulders to the waist touching the person that you hug (a side or gap hug won't do it). And yes that means your boobs are going to get smushed up against him :P
