I guess it is okay. It isn't like he is hurting anyone. I think he may just not have access to a sex toy, or is too embarrassed to buy one, so he is making do with objects from around the house. It is more common than we want to believe. I have heard one of the more common problems in emergency rooms, is having to remove common household objects from peoples butts. So yeah, him using a blanket doesn't seem like a big deal.
