yes sadly this happen to me me two years ago at my job. Its a really big company so you sont' know everyone. I locked eyes with this guy who was just gorgeous! I find out info about him and never saw him again until two days ago at job since then. This time we kept locking eyes and I have a different position which is higher status and have grown up even more. I know it sounds chessy but for two years I always wondered when I would see him again and when I saw him this time he said Hi and I couldn't hold my composure (ahhhhh just thinking of him brings butterflies to my stomach). I blew my chance because I don't know when I will ever see him again. I know this sounds crazy but this makes me believe in love at first sight, I just can't get my mind off of him.

Not to be a downer, but I think its a lot simpler than some would think. Its merely lust and physical attraction.

I wasn't necessarily speaking of romanticsm here, simply I saw someone randomly and I just had this sort of thing. My mom is into past lives regression therapy and told me that it was probably someone I was close to in a past life.

Not true, I've locked eyes with someone and it's definitely a different feeling from being attracted and lusting over someone

It can't certainly cannot be love at first site- that doesn't exist. You can't love someone you don't even know simply by looking at them. True- the same parts of your brain light up and the same chemical is released so it feels deeper than that but it isnt. Its If you already kind of know the person then maybe, but a complete stranger? no

Attraction is about tension. The tension of wanting something you don't yet have.

Notice how tense it feels right before the punchline of a joke? And then ever notice how the tension is done once you've laughed?

Strong eye contact without a smile is very much the same.

It often either means "we're about to fight" or it means "we're about to f*ck."

You're simply feeling tension, and your mind has decided it's a good feeling... a feeling of attraction. In another situation you might label it as a feeling of "danger" or "fear."
