I wouldn't be interested in someone who dressed like that. Because no matter how you are as a person the way you present yourself is important. Wearing designer clothes generally hints at a particular personality type. Dressing in sophisticated and posh clothing will, naturally imply that you are sophisticated and posh. There's nothing wrong with that in and of itself, and some guys do go for that, but II don't.
I definitely am drawn towards women who wear shirts with dry jokes and pop culture references, because that's what I like. Someone who is more laid back and likes similar things that I find fun and interesting. But again, that's just my personal preference.
I'd think that you're more..."higher up" I guess, which is what I'm attracted to, but my own insecurity of not being enough (ie I only make so much hahah) would prevent me from approaching you.
Also, id hope that external elegance you present yourself with matches the internal one. :)
That's like me, my boyfriend is a guy who likes it when a girl dresses nice and looks expensive. He also likes designer clothing but doesn't see it as important/a priority to buy them for himself. He'd rather spend the money on me. So we found a solution, I get them for him instead, He looks good in everything.
Date a man who appreciates the way you dress and doesn't think you're 'high maintenance or other'. A lot of the guys on here aren't the kind of guy you're looking for, they don't care. their opinions won't really help you.

You might be giving the impression that you're high maintenance. However, I don't think it's a bad thing. Someone who is legitimately interested in you as a person won't really care about that. Or at least, it won't dissuade them from getting to know you.

I think they are rich and therefore extremely high maintenance, and even with my job I don't have that kind of money.
Does your personality match? Do you talk to guys randomly and nicely? If not, it could give the impression you're stuck up (even if you're not at all). I'd think you're materialistic at first, then if you have a stuck up personality to then I come to the stuck up view.

Yup... wouldn't approach you either. my sis does the same thing with hella makeup on and she says the same thing. guys have two words for that... high maintenance. and we don't like that.
Stuck up? No I've never thought that until you mentioned it and I still don't think it's fair.
That said I tend to avoid them, I'm afraid they'd expect me to share an interest in that stuff and I just think it's a waste of money. I'm not sure I could respect a person like that and since respect is important for a good relationship it's best a girl like this and I don't mix.

Fashion doesn't mean much at all to me. If it looks super nice, than awesome. If it's nothing special, that's fine too. Neither will downgrade my opinion of her at all. (If I even notice. lol)
