my point is that you could have said something stupid, shocking, funny, weird... like the reasons to go wide eyed is numerous and not just cause he could like you. I am quite happy with myself though and will continue to be blunt. Thanks for the advice though

Honestly who knows what it could be... maybe he thought you were cute, he could have just been thinking to himself... regardless I wouldn't put any more thought in it again unless you encounter him again and he does something more concrete to show interest
