If a guy says he trusts you?

i told a guy something and he's like have you ever told someone about this and I told him no, and I asked why and he said it makes him feel trusted? We haven't been talking long either. What does he mean by that?

Well to him it could mean a lot. Personally when someone tells me something that they have never told anyone else that usually makes me feel that the other person trusts me and that makes me feel good and sometimes pretty important if they decide to share that type of information with me

He meant EXACTLY what he said. Nothing more than that. He enjoys feeling that you can actually trust him.
